Alex Ruben Angel Hernandez Reyes, 11, son of Frances Brothers Reyes and Ruben Hernandez Reyes, died Sunday December 25, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.

Alex was in the sixth grade at Bourbon Middle School and loved playing video games, playing on his phone and hanging with his brother. He had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family. Alex will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Bradley Hernandez Reyes; grandmother, Kimberly Brothers; one aunt, Kimmie Brothers; two uncles, Christopher Brothers and Jorge Hernandez Reyes and a host of cousins.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Richard Brothers and a great grandmother, Barbara Morrison.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday December 29, 2022 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bro. Bruce Templeton. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Thursday December 29, 2022 until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Frances Reyes, Ruben Hernandez Reyes, Kimmie Brothers, Chris Brothers, George Bailey III and Willie Crump.
