A TIME TO BE BORN… Mrs. Anita Carol Thurman Walker was born on May 24, 1953 to the union of the late Kurney Robert and Ruby Garr Thurman.
She was called to her heavenly home early Saturday morning July 25, 2020 at Baptist Health Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kurney Robert and Ruby Garr Thurman, her brothers, and sisters; Barry, Billy, Bobby, Paul, Paulette, Mary Katherine Woolridge and her husband; William.
A TIME TO WORSHIP… Anita Carol accepted Christ at an early age at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church under pastoral care of the late Reverend Horace R. Smith, Sr. She later moved her membership to the Uttingertown Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Michael Jackson. She had a passion for Christ.
A TIME TO LOVE… Anita Carol was united in Holy Matrimony for 38 years to the love of her life, the late William Daniel "Fuzz" Walker. She was a very loving and devoted wife, a loyal and loving support system to all who knew her. Anita Carol will be sorely missed for her humor, kindness, and love by a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. For all of us she gave her best. We are truly blessed and thankful to God for the love and the time that we shared.
A TIME TO CHERISH… The memory of Anita Carol Thurman Walker will remain forever cherished in the lives of family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted sister; Teresa (Clifford) Parks, four loving brothers; Robert (Betty) Thurman of Charlotte, North Carolina, Leroy (Hinda) Thurman of Lexington, Kentucky, Darnell Thurman of Pensacola, Florida, Terry (Debra Russell) Thurman of Lexington, Kentucky, six sisters-in-laws; Bettie W Parks, Margie Crawford, Rosetta Walker of FT. Wayne, Indiana, Mary B. (Herb) Badder, Dorothy Green and Virginia Turner of Winchester, Kentucky, three brothers-in-laws; Joe (Sarah) Walker, Johnny (Karen Markham) Walker, Jerry Walker of FT. Wayne, Indiana, two special uncles; Floyd Garr, Sr., Cleveland Clark, Sr., of Lexington, Kentucky and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.
