Anthony J. "A.J." Gubitz, Jr., 31, died Thursday, February 21, 2019.  Born in Lexington, KY, he was the son of Anthony J. Gubitz and Janie Baker Gubitz.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Jake (Mia) Gubitz; one sister, Kassie (Chris) Reed; niece, Ayle Reed and nephew, Spencer Reed; six uncles, Tommy Baker, Timmy (Karen) Baker, Steve (Jannette) Baker, David (Theresa) Courtney, Wes (Sarai) Gubitz and Brad (Tammy) Gubitz; three aunts, Anita (Greg) Springer, Tarri (Dennis) King and Gina (Rick) Winegar; paternal grandmother, Toni Gubitz and a number of cousins.

He was preceded in death by one aunt, Donna Martin; grandparents, George Gubitz, Betty Baker Courtney, Bobbie Baker and David Courtney.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bro. Dennis Peace. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens at a later date.

Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Monday, February 25, 2019 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Baker, Justin Baker, Robert Baker, Adam Baker, Jake Gubitz and Chris Reed. Honorary pallbearer will be T.J. Baker.
