Anthony D. Henderson, 59, of Lexington, KY, departed this life on Monday, June 11, 2018 at his home.

He was the son of Elizabeth H. Pierce and the late Ronald J. Pierce.

He graduated from Paris High School in 1978. He was an avid softball, football and basketball player.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Phillip Baker and Anthony D. Henderson, Jr., his mother, Elizabeth H. Pierce, a sister, Sandra (Terry) Chenault, three brothers, William V. Henderson, Deric J. Pierce and Everett Willis; one granddaughter and one grandson; special nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews including one very special great nephew, Keion D. Watson and many cousins, friends and a very special friend, Theresa Hawkins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Friday, June 15, 2018 at Zion Baptist Church, 312 West 8th Street, Paris, KY by Rev. Aaron Crumbie. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the hour of service on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the church.

Pallbearers will be James Robinson, Darryl Hawkins, Delman Johnson, Butch Maggard, Broderick Johnson and Gary Chenault. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY 40361.
