Anthony D.
Jackson
April 4, 1959 – March 15, 2024
Anthony Jackson was born April 4, 1954, to Lee Doris Jackson and the late William Milton Jackson in Lexington, Kentucky. He was called home by the Lord on Friday, March 15, 2024, while surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Jackson was a the graduate of Bryan Station High School and furthered his education by attending Wesleyan University in Indiana.
For the last 20 years, he had been a member of Jimtown Baptist Church where he has served as an ordained Deacon.
He was a retired employee of Vaughn Tobacco Company. During his retirement, he enjoyed taking care of the community by being a driver for Wheels. He also enjoyed relaxing in front of the TV watching football and going to watch his grandchildren play football.
On May 25, 2002, Mr. Jackson married the love of his life, the honey in his tea, the most beautiful Huberta Jackson. Their relationship could only be rivaled by those "happily ever after" fairy tales like Prince Charming and Snow White. Their love extended the rest of his life until their vows were fulfilled, and "Til death do us part."
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Reed; and a son-in-law, Orlando Warren.
Besides his mother he leaves to cherish his memory his loving and dedicated wife, Huberta H. Jackson; his children, Vondrell Brown, Crystal (David) Parker, Anthony (Felicia) Jackson, Jr., Antonio Jackson, Christopher (Natalie) Jackson, Lorleeta Mundy, Melinda Warren, Katie Campbell and Emanuel (Amber) Sharp; a son-in-law, Charles Reed; siblings, Rodney Jackson, Kimberly Jackson and Victor Jones; six sisters-in-law, Lillian Johnson, Nancy Winn, Sarah (Mark) Rudd, Mary Etta (Jeffrey) Peterson, Janice Miller and Sue Miller Maupins; a brother-in-law, Warren Miller; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews including special niece, Sasha Jackson and special nephew, Mateus Jackson; and a host of cousins and friends.
