Barbara Elizabeth Derby Davidson departed this life on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Cedar Ridge Health Campus in Cynthiana, Kentucky at the age of 85 years. Barbara was born on January 19, 1939, in Trenton, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Elbert and Eleanore Chambers Derby, was a graduate of William McFarland High School, was retired, having worked many years as the secretary for the Paris Independent School Superintendent, and was of the Catholic faith. Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Davidson, Valerie (Roger) Pitts; a son, Kenny Davidson; five grandchildren, Jason Lemaster, Jimmy Lemaster (Kayla), Kelsey (Nick) Brady, Jacob Pitts, and Brittney (Rashad) Harrison. Also surviving are nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Pilnacek, and Sandra Mulvania. Visitation for Barbara Elizabeth Derby Davidson will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with the funeral beginning at 1:00 p.m., Chaplain Phillip Moody officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens with casket bearers being Jason Lemaster, Jimmy Lemaster, Jacob Pitts, Roger Pitts, and Nick Brady.
