Barry Thomas King departed this life on August 22, 2023, at his home at the age of 68. He was born March 26, 1955, to Sara Franklin King and the late Issac King.

Barry accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He graduated from Henry Clay High School and retired from Merrill Lynch in Washington, D.C.

Barry was preceded in death by his father, Ike King, maternal grandparents, Ira and Mattie Franklin, and paternal grandparents, John and Lula King.

He is survived by his mother, Sara King; uncle, William Franklin of Augusta, Georgia; two aunts, Virginia Logan of Lexington, Kentucky, and Maryette McLemore of Dayton, Ohio; and a host of other relatives and friends.
