Betty Fleury, 91, widow of the late Joseph (Joe) Fleury, died Friday, October 13, 2023, at Bourbon Heights in Paris, KY. She was born February 17, 1932, in Mount Vernon, KY, to James and Nannie Winkler Barnett. She is survived by daughters Debbie Fryman, Theresa Yocum and her husband Owen; brothers Larry Barnett and Gary Barnett; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Bernice Linville; brothers Paul, Ivin, Aderon, Leonard, and Jimmy Barnett; and son-in-law Bobby Fryman. Betty enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, cooking for family, yard sales, painting, girls' day-out shopping adventures, and watching hockey and UK basketball games. Services for Betty will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 18 at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with Celebrant, Sharon L. Berry officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Paris, Kentucky. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. The family would like to thank the staff of Bourbon Heights and Bluegrass Hospice Care for the excellent care and compassion given to our mom. Most of all, the family would like to thank Betty's long-time friends, Eldon and Carol Conway. Their love and support have been a blessing to our family for more than 40 years.
