Beverly Dawn Montgomery was born on May 27, 1956 to the late Johnny Doak Grier and Mary Elizabeth Grier in Lexington, Kentucky. She was called to her eternal heavenly rest on Monday, January 3 at the age of 65 at Houston Methodist Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Johnny Douglas Grier. She received her formal education from Bryan Station High School. She worked in the food service industry. She was a member of Christ Temple New Assembly Church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed church services and the songs of the church. Beverly Montgomery loved to laugh and have fun and enjoyed special times with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, Brother, Everett Alfred Bass (Harriet) of Houston, TX, Step Brother Charles Bruce Patton (Nyetta) of Seattle WA. Step Sister LaJune Penman, Nieces, Alicia Jackson Brown and Chelsea Bass. Nephew, Colby Verrett; Aunts, Dorothy Smith and Alice Patton. During her life she was beloved by an extended family of cousins and close friends who were considered family and treated as such. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Christ Temple New Assembly Apostolic Church on January 15, 2022. Visitation 11; 00am – 12 Noon. Service to begin at 12 Noon.
