Obituary for Billy Wayne King

Billy Wayne King, 71, husband of the late Ruth Ann King died July 25, 2020 at the Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

He was born in Nicholas County January 15, 1949 to the late Mary King. He was a veteran. He enjoyed working with his coworkers at Crockett's. He loved U K Basketball and playing poker at the American Legion. He was a hard-working man that could make anyone smile and he will truly be missed.

He is survived by a son, Wayne King, a daughter, Shelly King, two grandchildren: Kimberly King and Kaitlyn King, his father and mother-in-law, Rodney, and Naomi Dale, two brother-in-law, Doug Dale and Timmy Dale and a few cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday July 30, 2020 at Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home with Bro. Gaylord Gillispie officiating with burial following in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are Wayne King, Chris McCarty, Mitch Hunt, Charlie Warner, Doug Dale, and Timmy Dale. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home or the family. Carlisle-Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
