Brenda Kay Helmburg, 63, died March 22, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.

She was born in Lexington, KY to the late Dewey and Mary Bridges Helmburg. Brenda was a retired cafeteria employee at the Fayette County Schools, and she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Amy McGibbins; two grandchildren, Ronnie Dale Goodwin and Daniel Allen Harrison; two sisters, Margie Helmburg and Theresa Farrow and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a niece, Amber Jackson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Friday March 29, 2024, at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bob Quinn. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
