Brooksy Carrington, widow of Joe Hugh Carrington, of Paris KY passed away on January 27, 2023 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home in Paris KY.

She was born October 17, 1941 to Pauline McCormick and Oakley McCormick in Darden TN. She was a retired nurse from St Joseph Hospital and was a member of New Providence Baptist Church in Paris KY.

She is survived by her daughters, Jo Nell (Henry) Nichols of Cynthiana KY and Karen (Herman) Hodges of Lexington KY. Mrs. Carrington is also survived by four grandchildren, Bryan Nichols, Christy (Paul) Cabasa, Erin Hodges and Dustin Hodges, and four great-grandchildren, Ally Brummett, Emma Brummett, Nora Cabasa and Sadie Cabasa along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brother, Charles McCormick and sister, LouNell Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Tuesday January 31, 2023 Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Rd. by Pastor Josiah Spears. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12:30pm-2:30pm Tuesday.
