Carole Elaine Edwards, 82, of Nicholasville passed away Oct. 7, 2021. She was born July 11, 1939, in Chaplin, Ky., and graduated from the Kentucky Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, University of Louisville. She served as a registered nurse for 40 years before retiring. At the age of 40 she completed a marathon, and stayed fit by running and walking. She is survived by her brother, Donald Calvert, her son, Jeff (Shelley) Callico, and her three grandchildren, Dustin, Logan and Miranda, and her loving partner and companion of 10 years, Larry Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Chuck" Edwards, mother Ann Wallingford Calvert, father Carl Calvert, sisters Nyla Dean, Ruth Burgin and Patricia Jeffiers, and brother Kevin (Becky) Calvert. Visitation will be held 10 am to noon, Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing. Funeral service is at noon, officiated by pastor Craig Yates and Phil Richardson.
