Catherine Eva Curtis, 62 of Lexington, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Joe Elmer Curtis, Sr. and Jimmie Gordon Clotfelter Curtis. She is survived by two brothers, Joe Curtis, Jr. (Dianne) and Michael Curtis (Gwen), one nephew, Kyle Curtis (Meagan) and two great nieces, McKenna and Kamryn Curtis. Cathy was retired from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. She was a loving person and always willing to serve others. She worked tirelessly for her church and gave her all to every project she worked on in spite of her illnesses and pain. A Memorial service will be held Thursday July 6, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at the Lexington First Church of God 505 Kingston Road Lexington, Kentucky 40505. The service will be conducted by Pastor Randy Montgomery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Lexington First Church of God. Arrangements under the direction of Milward-Southland, Lexington, KY.
