Cathy Marschel Miller Brown, of Liberty, Kentucky, formally of Paris, widow of Stanley Rex Brown, departed this life on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky, having attained the age of 64 years.

Cathy was born on September 10, 1959, in Lexington, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Richard C. and Elizabeth Heflin Miller, had received her medical billing certificate, loved crocheting, spending time with her family, cheering on those U.K. CATS during basketball season, and attending her beloved church, New Journey. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, David Gilbert. Surviving is a son, Steven Brown of Liberty; a daughter, Samantha (Justin) Pearlman of Campbellsville; grandchildren, Nevaeh Lebron, Joshua Gascot, Ceralynn Gascot, Sunshine Pearlman, Nicholas Pearlman, Dominic Pearlman, and Alexis Pearlman. Also surviving are her siblings, Elizabeth Gilbert, Deborah Miller (Mitchell), Felicia Miller, and Jeffrey (Tina) Miller. Visitation for Cathy Brown will be on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens with casket bearers being Justin Pearlman, Joshua Gascot, Jeffrey Miller, Zack Mier, and Earl Fluellen.
