CeCelia "CeCe" Lynn Johnson was born on October 29, 2000, the daughter of Kemonia Johnson and Donald Bennett. She departed this life on Sunday, April 14, 2024 after a brief illness at the University of Kentucky's Chandler Hospital. CeCe accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Historic Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Rev. Dr. Thomas H. Peoples, Jr. She loved to hear the choir sing God's praises and would witness by standing and clapping. CeCe was educated in the Fayette County Public School system and was a 2021 graduate from Lafayette Senior High School. She loved to watch WWE Wrestling every Monday night, as well shopping, playing music, dancing, and most of all being pampered. She was preceded in death by her grandfather: Robert Lee Ross, a brother: Ladonya Bennett, two aunts: Sabria Y. Johnson and Barbara Lee Ross (Na-Na) and two uncles: Byron Johnson and Robert Lee Johnson. CeCe loved her family and her family loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted mother: Kemonia Johnson, grandmother: CeCelia Johnson, father: Donald Bennett, bonus dad: Joseph Jackson, brother: Anthony Lindsey, niece: Skylar Lindsey, special brother: Lequan Johnson, nephew: Zakai Johnson, special godparents: Eva and William Burnside, Marthelma Givens and Vincent Givens, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her church family. Graveside services were held Saturday. April 27, 2024 at Evergreen Memory Gardens in the Garden of The Good Shepherd
