Charles Eugene Kelley, age 81, a retired crane operator and husband of Norma Saam Kelley, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was born February 18, 1942, in Richmond, KY, son of the late Melvin Lee and Janie Green Kelley. Charles is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 60 years, Norma; three sons, Porter Eugene (Chastity) Kelley, Randall Scott (Sandra) Kelley; Melvin Lee (Susan) Kelley; thirteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three children, Charles Eugene Kelley II, June Marie Kelley, and Patricia Jean Fuentes. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home in Paris followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Celebrant Sharon L. Berry officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Porter Eugene Kelley, Randall Scott Kelley, Melvin Lee Kelley, Bobby Kelley, Al Saam, and Darrin Shelton.
