Connie Sue Brown, age 81, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, in Lexington, KY.

She was born in Lexington, KY on March 6, 1945, to the late Charles and Maudie Brown. Connie retired from the University of Kentucky and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Versailles, KY. Connie was a loving friend, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kimberly Brown (Bo) Huffines, Hamilton, OH and Angela Brown Bain of Versailles, KY., as well as her sister, Charlesetta Ardery of Lexington, KY. Connie is also survived by four grandchildren, Wesley and Skyler Bain, Ben and Emily Huffines and three great grandchildren, Callie, Gannon and Gracie. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Brown.

Funeral services for Connie will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 12:00PM at Faith Baptist Church, 3692 Huntertown Road, Versailles, KY. Visitation will take place at the Church from 10:00AM – 12:00PM. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Wesley Bain, Skyler, Bain, Ronnie Wess, Dwayne Rice, Chase Ardery, Chris Ardery, Jeremy Ardery and Jeff Ardery.
