Daniel Comley, 57, of Lexington, died January 19, 2022. Daniel was the son of the late Charles Comley and Edna Rankin Booker. Daniel was a licensed plumber for several years and was passionate about his work. He enjoyed sports, especially playing on the Wildfire baseball team. He was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. Daniel is survived by; four daughters, Danielle Comley (Steven Arnett), Shannon Shell (Mark), Dessirae Comley, and Sherri Smith; sons, Daniel Comley and Dennis Lester; a host of grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia True (Ronnie), Mary Jane Burton (Satch), Nona Comley and Irene Flynn. He is preceded in death by sons Daniel and Darrell Comley; brothers Lenard and Franklin Comley; and brother-in-law Harold Flynn. Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, January 26th at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation, 1400 N. Broadway, Lexington, KY 40505. Visitation will be prior from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Pallbearers are Daniel Comley; Mark Shell; Steven Arnett; Dakota Walker; Terry Burton; and William Comley.
