David Allen Preston, 70, husband of Cathy Jackson Preston, died Tuesday May 21, 2019 at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, KY.

He was born in Lexington, KY to the late Arthur Alex and Rose Catherine Foster Preston. He was a retired painter and night watchman at the C.V. Whitney Farm and was member of the Spears Mill Baptist Church, Paris, KY.

In addition to his wife, he was survived by three brothers, Benny (Judy) Preston, Phillip (Wanda) Preston and Paul (Doris) Preston; one sister, Cathy (Ritchie) Hafer and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Terry Lee Preston.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday May 24, 2019 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Bro. Phillip Ronk. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.

Visitation will be from 5-8PM Thursday May 23, 2019 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Preston, Pip Preston, Eddie Preston, David Jackson, Raymond Jackson and Brent Schrack. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Spark, Mark Jackson, Ben Sparks and Shelby Jackson.
