Ms. Donna Deloris Davis, affectionately known as "Goose," passed away on October 12, 2025, in Lexington, Kentucky, at the age of 65. Born on May 16, 1960, in Lexington, she was the beloved daughter of the tate Nelson Davis Jr. and the tate Barbara Ann Davis.

Donna was a proud graduate of Seventy-First High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina. After completing her education, she returned to Lexington, where she used her many talents across several professions, including work as a security guard, nurse assistant, and cook. No matter the job, Donna brought heart, dedication, and a vibrant personality that touched everyone around Fun, full of life, and known for her great sense of humor, Donna had a deep love for the outdoors - especially fishing - and she never missed a chance to enjoy a good time. She found her greatest joy in being surrounded by tamity and friends, laughing, Sharing stories, and making memories that will live on. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ethel Smith and James Bart (Barbara), her paternal grandparents, Nelson Davis Sr. and Patricia Hawkins; her sister, Deborah Davis; her brother, Tyrone Davis; and two nieces and two nephews. Donna leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved siblings: Norma Hart, Nelson Davis III, Guy Davis, Lisa Davis, Tammy Mack (Norman), and Christopher Davis. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who were blessed to know and love her. Donna was truly loved, deeply blessed, and will be forever missed by all who had the joy of knowing her.

Graveside services for Donna D. Davis will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025 in our Garden of Serenity. Hawkins Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
