Edna Faye Evans, 77, wife of Ernest L. Evans passed away peacefully on January 8, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Faye was born on April 8, 1942 in Dechard, Tennessee to the late H L and Marie Caldwell, and raised by the late Delbert and Bertie Hughes of Somerset, KY. Faye was a member of Boones Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed music, flowers, family and the Lord.

Survivors other than her husband, include a son Ernest Lee Evans II (Buzz) and his wife Missy; and a daughter, Donna Evans Corum and her husband Philip; Grandchildren, Erika Evans Rogers (John Marcus), Zachariah Evans Corum (Lauren), Cody Lee Douglas Corum, Emily Lauren Larabee (Charlie); and one great-grandson, Wyatt Douglas Evans; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Douglas Edward Evans; her parents; and her siblings.

Visitation will be held from 12-2PM Saturday, January 11, 2019 at Boones Creek Baptist Church, 185 Cleveland Road Lexington, KY, with funeral services beginning at 2PM by Brother Charles Dixon. Burial will be private in Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Bluegrass Care Navigators.
