Edward T Hamm, 84, husband of Peggy A Hamm, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Advent Health Hospital in Daytona Beach, FL. He was born on November 24, 1939 in Sharpesburg KY to the late Willie and Nancy Hamm.

He worked as a technician for the Petroleum Industry then for the Fayette County School System.

Along with his wife Peggy, he is survived by his children Michael and Phillip Hamm, Kurt Puryear, Karen Carlson and Robyn Collins; Grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Shelby, Conner and Logan Hamm, Kyle and Kevin Puryear, Ariana Carlson/Rippy, Lexus Carlson, Amber Rivero, Lily Gibson; Great grandchildren Everly, Grayson and Griffin Hamm, Kye, Kullen and Landri Puryear, Allyson and Miley Motley and Brantley Rivero, Madelynn and Baileigh Gibson and Jettson Rippy.

He was preceded in death by his brother J.W. Hamm, sister Barbara Flora and recently his brother Roland Hamm.

Services will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 at Kerr Brothers, 463 E. Main Street, Lexington KY. Visitation will be 10-12:00, Service at 12:00 with burial immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, KY.
