Ernest "Ernie" Dale Brown, 72, husband of Connie Brown, died Sept. 4, 2018 at Baptist Health Lexington.

Born Sept. 23, 1945 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late General and Virgie Sparks Brown. Mr. Brown was retired from Bluegrass Coca Cola and was an ordained minister and member of Faith Baptist Church in Versailles, KY.

Survivors other than his wife include two daughters, Kimberly Brown (Bo) Huffines, Hamilton, OH and Angela Brown Bain, Lexington, KY; two sisters, Phyllis Warth and Linda (Gary) Stewart, both of Lexington, KY; four grandchildren, Wesley and Skyler Bain, Ben and Emily Huffines; and two great grandchildren, Callie and Gannon.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Sat., Sept 8, at Faith Baptist Church, 3692 Huntertown Rd., Versailles, KY by Bro. Joe Collins.

Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Wesley and Skyler Bain, Ben and Emily Huffines, Jeff, Chris and Jeremy Ardery, and B.J. Brown.

Visitation will be 11 am Sat. until the service time at the church. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. in is charge of arrangements.
