Eva Jane Gabbard Hopkins, 82, widow of the late Ernest Clay Hopkins, died Monday December 12, 2022 at the Baptist Health Hospital, Lexington, KY.

She was born in Lexington, KY to the late Dennis Gabbard and the late Elizabeth Nichols Whitehill. She was a former seamstress at Kentucky Textiles and a member of the Ruddles Mills Christian Church. Eva loved spending time with family, eating dinner with family and all her Hardee's friends and camping.

She is survived by two children, Pamela Gullett Bullock and Tonya Gullett (Alvin) Johnson; five grandchildren, Mindy Bustos, Shane Portwood, Joshua Portwood, Savannah Fuller and Brandon Fuller; eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Carl (Joanie) Toomey; three stepchildren, Jimmy Hopkins, Donnie Hopkins and Billy Hopkins; three step grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Harold Toomey; father of her children, Michael Gullett and a stepdaughter, Diana Hunter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Friday December 16, 2022 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., by Bro. John McGuire and Bro. Todd Rader. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday December 15, 2022 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jason Hunter, Jimmy Hopkins, Brandon Fuller, Cameron Herrington, Carl Toomey and Dakota Fuller.
