Gwendolyn Sternberg Curtis, 68 wife of Michael Curtis passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon Dec. 18, 2018.

She was born to the late Charles and Beulah Sternberg on Dec 5, 1950.

She is survived by a son Kyle P.(Meagan)Curtis, two grand daughters; McKenna and Kamryn Curtis and a sister Jacqueline (George) Talbot of New York.

This year Gwen celebrated 45 years of service to the University of Kentucky libraries where she helped develop and maintained the Univ. of Ky. Map Collection for which she was honored September 19, 2018. The U.K. map collection (A.K.A.)was named "The Gwen Curtis Map Collection" is part of the Science & Engineering Library, 4th floor.

Visitation will be 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday Dec 22, 2018 and Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. both at the Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Burial will be at the Evergreen Memory Gardens in Bourbon County.
