Harrison Peyton Scott, son of Darryl Harrison and the late Yolanda Theresa Scott was born January 6, 1992, in New Orleans, Louisiana and departed this life on August 29, 2024. He was baptized at a young age at the Mount Zion Baptist Church, St. Rose, Louisiana. As he grew older Harrison was a talented alto saxophone player and ministered at the First Baptist Church of College Hill, Tampa, FL. He also played with the New Albany High School marching and jazz bands. He graduated from New Albany High School, New Albany, Ohio in 2010 where he excelled as a member of the varsity football team. He was selected First Team All-State Ohio and subsequently accepted scholarships to play for both Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana and Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio. Harrison was enthused with his role as a counselor and enjoyed service to others through his work within the Victory House Recovery Community. He took pride in his role and found fulfillment in it. He leaves to cherish his memory his father Darryl, sister Miranda Scott, grandmother Ruth Scott, aunts Dr. Merrylyn Moran-Smith, Debra (James) Moran-Reimonenq, Dorothy Moran, Monica Moran McGuire, and Paula Merritt, uncles Clarence Miller, Sr., Jeff, Jihad, and Ronald Hines, and Joseph Smith. Also a host of cousins including Darlene, Maliaka, Nikki, Kia, Kayla, Paige, Clarence Jr., Anthony Jr., Scott, Clarence III (CJ), and Jenise. Harrison was preceded in death by his mother Yolanda, brother Chandler Scott, grandparents Clarence Scott, Jr., Arthur and Bernadine Moran, aunt Margeret Miller, and uncles Kermit, Jerry, and Arthur (Will) III, Moran. He will be forever missed by his family. We will miss you and your smile Harrison, Pharaoh, Big H.
