Henry Thomas Brown passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 9, 2024, in Lexington, Kentucky, at the age of 76. Born on November 16, 1947, in Bourbon County, Kentucky, Henry's life was marked by an unwavering dedication to his family, work, and faith. He was the beacon of light and love for his family, guiding them through life with wisdom and humor. Henry radiated positivity in every aspect of his life, and his legacy of love and laughter remains.

Henry was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, where he laid the foundation for his lifetime of hard work and dedication. He committed 43 years to the Trane Company, setting a remarkable record of missing just three days of work throughout his entire career. This work ethic was a testament to his character: reliable, steadfast, and devoted.

In his personal life, Henry was a paragon of virtue—honesty, positive in all situations, forgiving, loving, funny, and humble. His courageous spirit was an inspiration to all. He was also an avid outdoorsman who found solace in the quiet of deer hunting and the patience of fishing.

Henry's faith was the cornerstone of his existence. He loved the Lord with all his heart and desired to share that love with everyone he met. His gentle spirit and unwavering faith impacted many throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Phyllis Ann Brown, his parents, Omer and Virginia Brown, and ten brothers and sisters, Henry's memory will be forever treasured by his loving grandchildren, Amanda Cooper, Amber Godby, and Adam Godby; his brother, Jimmy Brown (Peggy); great-grandchildren, Rylie Cooper and Kyrah Cooper; and a community that respected him greatly.

Funeral services for Henry will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 East Main Street, Lexington, Kentucky, 40507, with Rev. Jeffrey Tibbs officiating the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens in Bourbon County, Kentucky. Visitation will be held before the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
