Jackie Carr, 83, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2019. Born in Lexington, he was a son of the late Frank and Nellie Carr. Survivors are a sister, Louise Charles of Lexington and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Viola Dunn, Allie "Bee" Calvert, Barbara Wells and Hallie "Sweet" Lanter. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept.12 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St.

Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday.
