Mr. James Bales "Paco", 68, of Lexington, Kentucky passed away on June 05, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

James was born on May 6, 1955 to the late Clarence Bales and Beulah Mitchell in Georgetown, KY.

James was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Joyce Bales; his children, James Bales Jr. (Lori), and Joshua Bales (Camila); and his grandchildren, Jonathon Bales, Kendall Bales, and Thomas Bales; his siblings, Clarence Mason Bales, Debbie Bales, Carol Bales, David Bales, Ann Brooks, and Mark Bales.

James worked at Equipment Sales and Rentals in Lexington for 39 years and he loved his job. James was a hard worker. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially watching the birds and feeding them. He loved spending time with his wife. He especially loved his grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 12 PM at Kerr Brothers – Main Street. Visitation will be on the same day before the funeral, from 10:30 to 12. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens.
