James Franklin Curry III passed away at the University of Kentucky Medical Center on July 25, 2020 surrounded by family members.

He was preceded in death by father James Franklin Curry JR; paternal grandfather James F Curry; maternal grandmother Sally Mitchell; maternal grandfather J.B. Johnson (Deborah).

He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Morgan and her husband Bradley Morgan of Lexington, Kentucky; paternal grandmother, Geneva Sweat of Lexington, Kentucky; sisters, Sherrill, Renisha, Ashleigh Johnson, Marissa Campbell and Anna Morgan all of Lexington; brothers, James L. (Kimberly) Curry, Terry (Chintee) Jones, Mathew Sweat, Damion Happy and Jacob Morgan all of Lexington, Kentucky; uncles, Bruce and Steven (Sha'ron)Johnson both of Lexington, Kentucky; Joseph Johnson; and Robert Mitchell of St. Louis Missouri; aunts, LaJean (Joel) Crosby and Chiffon Conyers of Lexington, Kentucky; and Joycee Johnson ; also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.

James was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. He also enjoyed several activities including golf and entertaining all who were around him. James also had a fondness for traveling and enjoyed the California area especially well. Having light hearted laugh he brought a carefree spirit to all of those he met.
