James I. Whitaker, 71 passed away Friday, April 4, 2025. James is proceeded in death by his loving wife, Bonnie Lou Whitaker. He is survived by his son, James C. Whitaker.

Visitation for James will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at New Birth Church of Christ Christian Ministries, 1690 Russell Cave Road, Lexington, Kentucky 40505. Services will begin at 12:00 pm immediately after visitation at the church and Interment to follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens at 5364 Lexington Road, Lexington, Kentucky 40511.
