Jawane Carlton Dumphord, 25, died Sunday, April 2, 2023 in Paris, KY.

Born in Lexington, KY, he was the son of James C. Dumphord and Tina M. Davis. He was a Fed Ex employee, a 2016 graduate of Paris High School, a member of the Prodigal's House, and loved his dogs, mowing, sports, his friends, and family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Chase Dumphord, Cody Dumphord, and Jawan Dumphord; two sisters, Kelly (Joe) Catlett and Danielle "Dee" Barnes; grandparents, William and Gwen Davis; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; four aunts, Vivian Gaines, Edith Dumphord, Jean Dumphord, and Elaine (Darnell) Christopher; five uncles, William (Donna) Davis, Jr., DeWayne (Doris) Davis, Hamid (Lanie) Umar, Richard (Lanie) Dumphord, and Andre Dumphord.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Friday, April 7, 2023, at the First Christian Church, 911 High Street, Paris, KY by Rev. Dr. Morgan Gilkey and Rev. Aaron Crumbie. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Friday, April 7th at the church.

Pallbearers will be Jacquez Dumphord, Jawan Dumphord, Chase Dumphord, Cody Dumphord, Kobee Garrard, and Derrick Davis.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Paris High School Class of 2016.
