Jerry Allen Walker Jr., 69, of Cynthiana, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. He was born in Bourbon County, KY, on January 6, 1956, to Phyllis Ellington Jordan and the late Lucius "Buddy" Moreland. Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Rose Ellington. Jerry was known for his hard work ethic. He was a farmer all of his life and owned Walker Hay and Grain for 36 years. Jerry loved his wife, mother, children and grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Jerry leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years, Angie Collett Riddell Walker; a son, Jarod (Jericha) Walker; a daughter, Jerah Johnson, sister, Debra (Richard) Walker Howard; brother, Barry (Susan) Moreland; grandchildren, Landen Walker, Easton Walker, Coralie Johnson, Collin Johnson; two special uncles, Paul Ellington and Jim Ellington; as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., with visitation the evening prior on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., all at Ware Funeral Home. Bro. Sammy Harris will officiate the service, and burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.
