Jimmy Lane Jones, age 66, husband of Melissa Bryant Jones, died Friday, December 24, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was born December 5, 1955 in Winchester, Kentucky, son of the late James Jones Jr. and Marlene Fay Buckler English. Jimmy was a graduate of Bourbon County High School, loved to fish and play cards with his buddies. He is survived by his wife, Melissa; a son, Jimmy Wayne Jones (Corina Dawson); two brothers, Danny Lee (Deidra) Jones, James Arnold (Teresa) Jones; two sisters, Linda Fay Johnson, Helen May Jones (Tony Isaac); and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 30, at the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor George Clifton. Casket bearers will be Robert Purvis, Steven Bishop, Timmy Lane Jones, James Russell Jones, Mitchell Wayne Johnson, and Daniel Bishop. Honorary bearers will be Tony Isaac, Danny Jones, Jimmy Wayne Jones, James Arnold Jones, Kerry Claypool, Travis Claypool, Maci Golden, and Billy Clifton. Interment will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
