Joe Grady Lewis was born March 28, 1941, in Lexington to the late Charles T. and Lula Lewis. He departed this life on September 27, 2022.

Joe Grady graduated from Paul Lawrence Dunbar in 1959. He worked for the Phoenix Hotel and retired from Spindletop Hall. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan. Joe Grady accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pleasant Green Baptist Church.

He's preceded in death by one son, Bruce "Chucky" Lewis and his twin sister, JoAnn "Josie" Lewis. He leaves to cherish his memory five daughters, Dorcel (Jerry) Edmonds, Henderson, Dedreia Lewis, Shannon (Kevin) Womack, Candace (Carlos) McCain, and Jodi Lewis; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

Services will be 12PM Saturday, October 8, 2022 At Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Harrodsburg Road with burial to follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
