John T. Eckler, 94, widower of Mattie Belle Eckler, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018. Born in Georgetown,  He was a son of the late Arch and Nettie Eckler.

Survivors are three sons, Jerry Thomas Eckler, Lexington, George Ray (Carolyn) Eckler, Lincoln Co., and Paul E. Eckler, Harrisonville, KY; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Committal will be Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10am in our Garden of Stillwaters
