Joshua Dean Alexander, 39, of Nicholasville, died December 24, 2022.

Born on April 26, 1983, in Irvine, KY, Joshua was the son of Larry Joe and Vickie Lynn Anderson Alexander.

Joshua was a people person who had a larger-than-life personality. He was adventurous and had a big heart. He loved praise and worship music, as well as gospel music. Most of all, he loved Jesus.

Other than his parents, Joshua is survived by his children, Evelyn, Hunter and Logan; Hunter and Logan's mother, Kalista Lawson; granddaughter, Alaiyah Alexander; siblings, April Miller (Daniel), and Joseph Brandon Alexander (Carla); grandmother, Mabel Campbell; many nieces and nephews; as well as many more extended family.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Fred and Jewell Anderson, and grandfather, Dean Alexander.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Southland Christian Church - Nicholasville, Building A, 5001 Harrodsburg Rd., Nicholasville, KY 40356. Visitation will be prior from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens, 5364 Lexington Rd., Lexington, KY 40511.
