Keith Edward Barnes, 65, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.
A native of Paris, KY, he was the son of the late William Edward Barnes and Cleo Fields Barnes. He was a retired factory worker at ITW. He is survived by one daughter, Keisha (Joe) Akemon and one son, Keith Barnes II; four grandchildren, Chyanne Nichols, Madison Akemon, Cainon Akemon and Braxton Akemon; one brother, Jerry (Phyllis) Barnes; one sister, Vanessa Finch and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special friend, Donna Baker Barnes Martin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 PM Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Steve Baker and Pastor Anthony Gubitz. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Monday, May 7, 2018 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Cainon Akemon, Joe Akemon, Keith Barnes II, Jerry Barnes, Jr. "Flee", Jerry Barnes and Chris Reed.
