Brother Larry F. Harley, Sr. was born on July 13, 1948 to the late William H. Hanley and the late Hannah Carson in Lexington, Kentucky. He departed this life on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

Brother Larry was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Lexington, Kentucky.

Brother Larry worked for the Lexington Fayette Urban County government streets and Roads for over thirty years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Joyce L. Hanley.

He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory: four children, Mia Hanley, Tamika Sales, Larry F. Hanley, Jr., and John Hanley, all of Lexington, KY; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four siblings, Bill Baker (Vernice), Ella Minniefield (Willie) Fred, and Vassassa Steward (Kenny); along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
