Larry Allen Smith, 72, died Friday June 7, 2019 at his home in Paris, KY.

A native of Richmond, KY, he was the son of the late Roy Farmer and Zelma Rice Smith. He was the owner of the Diverse Erecting and Demolition Co., a member of the Shriner's, and a United States Army veteran. Larry loved horse racing, was a fun loving guy who everyone liked and enjoyed his company.

He is survived by two sisters, Linda Newton and Mary Carter and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Smith and Park Smith and one sister, Elizabeth Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Tuesday June 11, 2019 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Tuesday June 11, 2019 until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Smith, Ricky Smith, Steve Shelton, Wayne Howard, Robert Lynch, Robert Tussey, Mark Newton and James Smith. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY 40361.
