On Monday, February 15, 2021, Lewis "Junie" Boone, loving husband, father of two, grandfather of five, & great-grandfather of two passed away at the age of 79.

Lewis was born on October 21, 1941 in Georgetown, KY to Lucille Boone. He was employed by Graybar Electric for 27 years.

On July 29th, 1961 he married his loving wife, Phyllis. Lew had a passion for living life on his farm. He enjoyed watching his Standardbred horses race the tracks as well as watching them run freely on the Boone Farm. He had a love for dogs, specifically his labs, and he enjoyed watching old westerns.

Lewis was preceded in death by his mother Lucille Boone and his father Orville "Ping" Boone. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of almost 60 years, his son, Jeffrey Lewis Boone (Michele), Mt. Washington, KY and his daughter, Sherry Boone, as well as his five grandchildren Sarah Potter, Adam, Christopher, Ryan and Gracie Boone, his great-grandchildren Ayden & Kasen, his sister Deborah (Boone) Reynolds, Tarpon Springs, FL & his beloved lab, Dusty & horse, Jimmu. Others that were near and dear to his heart were Shawnna Wheeler Boone, Ryan Parsley and William "Bill" Potter.
