Liza Mae Helton, 94, Lexington, widow of Pat Helton, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

A native of Barbourville, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Belle Foley Engle. She was a member of North View Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Jimmie Lee (Beverly) Helton of Sadieville, Kentucky and Jerry Patrick (Susan) Helton of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; grandchildren, James Helton, Jodie Lane, Bryan Helton, Jeremy Helton, and Amy Helton; and one brother, Charlie Madison Engle (Millie) of Williamsburg, Ohio. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Henry Engle, and Carson Engle. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 05, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Main Street with Pastor Terry Murphy officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, June 04, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens.
