Loranzo E. Edwards, 74, husband of Dorothy Harris Edwards, died Thursday March 14, 2019 at the St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.

A native of Paris, KY, he was the son of the late Willie Lee and Estella Holman Edwards. He was a retired food service employee at the VA Hospital on Leestown Dr., Lexington, KY and a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church, Paris, KY. Loranzo loved to fish and was a kind man who helped many people in his life.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one brother, Leland Edwards, one sister, Talmenia (Herbert) Sharp; a host of nieces and nephews including two special nephews, Lindrell (Sandra) Blackwell and Ken (Tonya) Edwards; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Fields and Jackie Harris; one brother-in-law, James (Angie) Harris and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one brother, Willie Mack Edwards; two sisters, Gloria Parker and Pheary Edwards and two sisters-in-law, Margaret Barnes and Delores Harris.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday March 20, 2019 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St., Paris, KY by Rev. Chrysanthia Carr-Seals. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens, Paris, KY.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Wednesday March 20, 2019 until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Clyde Marks, Steve Parker, Ken Edwards, Lawayne Edwards, Lindrell Blackwell, Trent Edwards and Christian Blackwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Trey Edwards, Louis Foster, Rudene Runyon, Josh Harris, Jimmy Robinson and Vincent Henderson.
