Marjorie (Wilhelmina) Pool was born July 30, 1931 in Lynchburg, South Carolina to the late Thomas and Mattie Robinson. She departed this life on May 12, 2019, after a brief illness to be with Christ.
She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age in Lynchburg, South Carolina before moving to Lexington, Kentucky in 1947. She had a great impact on the lives of everyone she met. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her deep faith in Jesus Christ was the key to her strength. She was worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for thirty-five years at Northwest General Hospital in Detroit, Michigan before retiring in 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Pool, six brothers (James, Herman Nathaniel, Foster, Thomas, and Curtis Robinson), and three sisters (Predella Lewis, Naomi Barrett, and Gladys Marrow). She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Avis Edmonds (Lexington, Ky); her son Cedric Madison (Marsha) (Detroit, MI); six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; nine great- great- grandchildren; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins
