Mary Alice Landsaw was born on August 6, 1950 In Vancleve, Kentucky to Clifford and Bitha Landsaw.

She attended Morehead State University where she majored in Business and minored in Psychology.

Mary was a Case worker in Chicago, IL, and a mother of two, Richard Landsaw, Lisa (Earnest Thomas) Jones. She is also a proud grandmother of five granddaughters, Jelayla Landsaw, Symone Jones, Antavia Jones, Lataiya Jones and Alana Jones. She is also survived by seven brothers, four sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.
