Mary Martin Wells Perrin, age 95, of Millersburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on June 11, 1924, in Bourbon County, the daughter of Carl and Lucreasie Jones Lanter.
Mary was the owner of a fabric store, a seamstress, former Bourbon County homemaker, and a member of Millersburg Methodist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband in 1995, Harry Wells as well as their son, Carl Matthew Wells in 2005. Also, preceding her in death was her second husband, Ross Perrin and her siblings, Thelma Toomey, Clyde Lanter, Lester Lanter, Ray Lanter, Lucreasie "Totsie" Rankin, Carl "Dick" Lanter, Jean Leach and Sam Lanter.
Surviving are her children, H. Monroe Wells, Linda Lee Wells Myers (John T.), Norma Wells Dohn, and Martha Wells Hammond (Tom). Also surviving are eight grandchildren, John Eric Dohn, Amy Dohn Williams, Scott Wells (Kandice), Joshua Wells (Shannon), Larissa Wells Buchanan (Andrew), Regan Myers, Danika Myers-Hurwitz (Seth), and Reuben Monroe Wells (Abby); sixteen great grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Clevenger.
The funeral service for Mary Martin Wells Perrin will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13th, 2019, at the Hinton Turner Funeral Home with Chaplain Rick Snyder and Rev. David Dupree officiating.
Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens with casket bearers being Eric Dohn, Reuben Wells, Scott Wells, Josh Wells, and Andrew Buchanan. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home between the hours of 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
