Michael Wayne Woods, 65, widower of the late Judy Woods, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, on December 30, 1959, he was the son of the late Howard Sr. and Emma Parido Woods. Michael spent his career as a dedicated salesman.

He is survived by his children, Stacy Barnett and Jodie Woods; several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Inez (Thomas) Hines, Howard (Nancy) Woods Jr., Sophia (Gordon) Pickett, Charlene Watkins, and Johnny (Carolyn) Hughes. He is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.

In addition to his wife and parents, Michael was preceded in death by four of his siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Scobee Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor David McKay. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Shawn Hall, Thomas Hines Jr., Rusty Watkins, Thomas Watkins, Howard Woods III, and Logan Woods.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, one hour prior to the service.
