Michele Lynn Porter (Sunshine) 56, of Lexington, KY, passed peacefully Thursday, June 29, 2023 at U.K. Good Samaritan Hospital while surrounded by friends and family.

She was born July 17, 1966 in Winchester, KY to the late Ralph and Gladys Cosby.

She is survived by one sister, Louise Lumpkins, Winchester, Ky; Louise's "Rock" Gerald Porter, Paris, Ky; Niece, Crystal (Johnny) Preston; Nephew, Brandon (Lisa) Lumpkins and a loving family of niece's, nephew's, cousins and such.

She was preceded in death by one Brother, Ralph Cosby Jr. also, one Nephew, Roy Elwood Lumpkins, Jr.

She was a graduate of Bryan Station High School. She worked as a Residential loan processor for Forcht Bank, while also working at Rupp Arena for the past 25 years. Michele loved golf, dancing, socializing, just making people laugh and feel loved. She had so many friends, she had a friend in every flavor. She will be missed by her adopted fur baby, Copper Cook.

Services will be held at 12:30 Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Kerr Brothers – Harrodsburg Road. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Wednesday. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.
