Mildred Jane Chenault, 80, passed away on Thursday, April 12th while wintering in Sarasota Florida.

She was born to the late Charlie Howard and Clara Ayers Cunningham on August 12, 1937. She was married for 36 years to the late Thomas E. Chenault.

She was a retired employee of Square D; and was a member of the Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Charles Young Post 165 and the Bluegrass Civitan Club, Inc. She was also a member of the Air Force, stationed in California during her tenure.

Survivors include her sons: Gilbert (and Angela) Chenault of Riverview, FL, Ricky (and Delaphine) Chenault of Atlanta GA, Thomas Chenault and Doug Smith of Chicago, IL and Sarasota, FL; five grandchildren: Phillip (and Nicole) Holman of Atlanta, GA, Chad Roberts and Dawnya Clark of Maysville, KY, Traun Roberts (and Jennifer) of Kansas City, MO, Austin Chenault of Atlanta, GA, Tayo (and Corey) Mosley of Atlanta, GA; several great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She is also survived by five sisters: Charlotte Howard, Ruth (and Raymond) Chenault, Teresa Howard, Anita Howard and Yvonne Howard all of Paris, KY; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the First Christian Church, 911 High Street, Paris, KY 40361 on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 11 am – 12 Noon, followed by the funeral service by Rev. Connie Mitchell presiding. Burial will take place at the Evergreen Memory Gardens.
